I improvised a cocktail and it was good
Last night there was an amazing summer thunderstorm. I felt inspired by it to make a cocktail, a riff on a dark n stormy. Apparently there’s already a drink called a summer storm so I have opted to call this one Vivaldi Summer III (because my inner music nerd will always win out) (also shoutout to sapphics) (if you know you know)
Vivaldi Summer III
Ingredients
- 2 oz dark spiced rum
- 1.5 oz lime juice
- 0.5 oz agave nectar
- 1 oz lime mint Topo Chico (I’m sure any seltzer water would work, but this is what I had and it tasted very nice)
- Lime wedge for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Pour the rum, lime juice and agave nectar into a shaker with ice. Shake until well combined.
- Pour over ice. Add Topo Chico and stir.
- Garnish with a lime wedge and enjoy!
