I'm trying to make my life cuter
My husband Alex does concert photography, and he's photographing a show tonight. Earlier while I was napping, I had a dream that I baked some lemon cookies and was packing them in a little tupperware container for him to bring to the show. I told him about it, and he said it's the cutest dream he's ever heard of anyone having, hah. I didn't have time to actually bake cookies this time, but I think I want to for his next show. Thanks for the inspiration, subconscious!
I got a new phone recently. My old one was white, and I had a black case with a muted floral pattern on it. My new one is pink, and I got a bright purple and teal glittery case for it. I figured that something I use so much in my day-to-day life should be fun! Alex has called it both Barbie and Lisa Frank inspired (complimentary, obviously).
I am my cat Ramona's favorite human. I had her for 5 years before Alex came into the picture, so it makes sense. For a long time when he would say something about me being her favorite, I would deny it, saying she loves us equally. But recently I've just decided to embrace being the favorite. I like feeling special 😇 and honestly, what's cuter than being a cat's chosen person?

I've started adding romance books to my reading rotation full of bone chilling horror and beautifully tragic literary fiction books. Reading something cute and light occasionally is a nice palate cleanser and good for my brain, it turns out!
I don't know if I'll actually succeed at this, but I want to get better about taking pictures when I'm out with friends. I'm extremely good at being in the moment instead of constantly being on my phone taking photos to post to social media, but the unfortunate side effect of that is that I have pretty much no photos with any of my friends. So I want to find a happy medium: continue mostly living in the moment, but hopefully remember to also take a few photos.
Existence is really weird. Might as well make it cute, right?
